Questions, answered.
Do you have it in stock?+
Most sizes shown on this site are in stock in Austin — look for the "● In stock" badge on the product page. Not sure about your exact size or material? Send us a stock check on WhatsApp before you drive over.
Can I get it today?+
If it's in stock, yes. Same-day delivery is available across Greater Austin and San Antonio for in-stock tarps — see our urgent delivery page for pricing and cutoff times.
What materials do you use?+
We use only premium materials, including Gorilla Mesh, Lumite Mesh, 24 oz vinyl, and 38 oz vinyl. Material selection depends on the specific application and customer requirements.
Why do your tarps last longer?+
Durability comes from both premium materials and intelligent design. We reinforce the areas that experience the greatest wear using heavy-duty webbing or additional vinyl layers, helping reduce premature failures where many standard tarps typically wear out.
Do you manufacture custom tarps?+
Yes. We manufacture tarps for a wide variety of truck configurations, and in some cases we can also build custom tarps based on your measurements or specific application.
How do I know which tarp I need?+
Our team can help you identify the correct tarp based on truck type, tarp system, dimensions, information about your existing tarp, and photos of your truck. If you're unsure, simply contact us and we'll guide you through the process.
What tarp systems do you support?+
We offer tarps for Arm Systems, Bow Systems, and Roll-Off Systems.
Can I send my measurements?+
Absolutely. You can send measurements, photos, or even your existing tarp, and we'll help ensure your replacement fits properly.
Do you ship throughout the United States?+
Yes. We ship nationwide so customers across the U.S. can receive our products wherever they operate. In Austin and San Antonio we also deliver same-day at a published flat rate — $75 and $150 — with pickup in Austin free.
Can I get ticketed for hauling an uncovered load in Texas?+
Yes. Texas Transportation Code Ch. 725 requires commercial vehicles hauling loose material to cover the load and secure the cover front and back — and the fine is $25 to $500 under §725.003, not the $25–$200 that many sites repeat. In the Austin area the landfill gate surcharge is the more frequent cost. We wrote both up with the statute quoted and linked.
Do you offer warranties?+
Yes — one year on our workmanship: seams, hems, grommets, and stitching. Repair or replacement, and you pick which one you want. It does not cover UV, normal wear, wind damage, or abrasion from the load. The full terms are published on our warranty page.
Does the warranty cover normal wear and tear?+
No. The warranty covers our workmanship only. UV degradation, normal wear from loading and dumping, wind damage, abrasion from the load, accidental damage, improper installation, and misuse are not covered. We publish the expected service life by material instead, so you know what to actually plan for.
Can your tarps help reduce my operating costs?+
Many customers tell us that the longer service life of our products helps reduce replacement frequency, minimize downtime, and lower maintenance costs over time.
Which industries use your products?+
Our tarps are commonly used in construction, demolition, aggregate hauling, sand and gravel, asphalt, landscaping, waste management, recycling, and scrap.
Do you sell to individual truck owners or fleets?+
Both. Whether you own one truck or manage an entire fleet, we can help you find the right tarp solution.
Can fleets receive special pricing?+
Yes, and we publish the terms instead of making you ask: 3 or more trucks gets 10% off every tarp, Net-30 after three paid orders, POs accepted, and a named contact with a cell number. See the fleet terms page.
What information should I provide when requesting a quote?+
To prepare an accurate quote, it's helpful to provide the truck make and model, tarp system, dimensions (if available), photos, and the quantity needed. The more information you provide, the faster we can assist you.
How do I place an order?+
You can request a quote online, contact our sales team, or call us directly. We'll help confirm the correct product before your order is finalized.
Why are your products more expensive than some competitors?+
Our products are built using premium materials and reinforced in the areas where tarps typically fail. While our prices may be up to 20% higher than some alternatives, many customers tell us our tarps last significantly longer, reducing replacement frequency and lowering the overall cost of ownership.
What makes IronTarp different?+
IronTarp was created by a former dump-truck owner who became frustrated with tarps that constantly failed in the same places. Instead of simply copying existing designs, we redesigned our tarps by reinforcing the highest-stress areas to improve durability and performance under demanding jobsite conditions.
Why should I choose IronTarp?+
Because every IronTarp is built with one goal: to stay on your truck longer. We're committed to building tarps that work as hard as you do.
